GRAPHIC COMMUNICATION

In this academic year, the Advanced Graphic Communication module aimed to assist students in developing a repertoire of appropriate methodologies, theories and techniques to support their creative processes as well as to provide means for critical evaluation of visual communication products. The module also aims to allow students to develop a practical understanding of graphic design applications and of production processes and techniques for printed and digital products and media. Moreover, it was expected that students would develop an understanding of, and an ability to produce, graphic visual communications in a variety of media at a professional level. This year’s projects show a great range of focus, techniques and mediums. Each student was given the freedom to develop their own briefs which were supported by thorough research. The projects selected here demonstrate the quality of the work achieved by the students, from educational materials to travel apps.
