This collaboration with Glasses Direct comes from a need to re-design their Home Trial Box. The Home Trial Box as it stands is a service that allows the customer to try frames available from the convenience of their own home (essentially a try before you buy scheme). This letterbox size package holds 4 frames and contains various advertising content inside.
The outcome for this collaboration was to make the design more subjective to the company and incorporate art abstraction based on the story of the frames themselves. The final design incorporates abstracted segments of the storyline in a seamless repeat pattern. Different tonal variations of the company’s core colours have been layered to give more depth to the design. This style has been carried across the internal contents to create a refreshing aesthetic for the brand.
