They also combine toxic chemicals and materials from a highly unsustainable source and manufacturing process, causing considerable environmental impact. Ora utilises the health, environmental and aesthetic benefits of the seaweed organism to create a versatile material application in the indoor environment. The material is solvent free, emits zero VOCs and is environmentally responsible, creating a superior alternative to current building materials. It is made up of sSeaweed, an eco-friendly/non-toxic binder and sealant.Through bringing nature indoors, Ora engages with occupants on a biophilic and holistic level, thus improving human-nature relationships and aiming to enlighten attitudes towards a greener approach in the built environment.
