In the ever-increasing female sporting world, it is evident that there is a considerable lack of design development, as seen with the current design of the athletic shoe. This is particularly concerning as there is a higher incidence of injury amongst female athletes. With netball becoming increasingly popular, it is more important now than ever that these athletes are protected, which is where Nueva comes into play.
Nueva is not only the first netball shoe aimed specifically at preventing Patellar Tendonitis, but it simultaneously works as a correctional shoe, encouraging muscle and strength development as well as improving posture. Most importantly, the ground-breaking feature of Nueva is its design and development of the first known women’s athletic shoe sole created purely based on the anatomical measurements and features of a woman’s foot.
