Today, work and entertainment rely more and more on electronic devices. Most patients with neck problems have the experience of sitting and maintaining the same posture for a long time. Research indicates that a combination of neck exercises and stretching can help prevent the incidence of neck pain in office workers by approximately 50%; however, regular and adequate exercise is required to achieve the effect. Cervsmile is designed to reduce neck problems by both prevention and alleviation. Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) causes muscles to contract by mimicking the action potential coming from the central nervous system. By applying NMES, the reminder will send electrical impulses to the user and their muscles will be stimulated at specified times to motivate them to do neck exercises. Two self-adhesive electrode pads used for the impulses can be removed for cleaning.
