In recent years London's population has significantly increased, where there were 8.8 million people in 2016, it is estimated to rise to 9.3 million in 2021. With this, more high-density living spaces are being developed within urban cities to provide homes for the increasing population. However, the issue arises in the limit of space to move around, possibly due to furniture overcrowding problems in small homes, therefore, leaving little room to move. The Trio is a piece of furniture designed to resolve this issue, by having two different configurations for different uses around the house, whether it be used as a coffee table, a single-seat chair, or a bench for two people during social gatherings. This project also tackles the issues of the digital world, taking over social interactions where people are more engaged with social media.
