Ozonated Showering Technology (OST), a groundbreaking way to treat and prevent pressure ulcers and related dermatological disorders, was recently invented by Huaxin Yu and the Southern Medical University of China.
Inspired by OST, this version of the Ozonated Showering Console (along with a tailored business model, Ozonated Showering Service (OSS)), aims to take OST to a broader population in the UK, tackling one of the major medical issues for the elderly generation and the diabetic population. By focusing on the direct prevention of the initial formation of pressure ulcers rather than treatment or detection at a later stage, OSS breaks the negative cycle of ulcer formation and may save a substantial amount of resources both at a public and individual level.
