Illumitrex is a device that will generate energy as you walk for hikers and campers. The device is equipped with a built-in generator, torch and USB-C charger for mobiles. Designing the product as a smart survival tool aims to push the product into the hiking market. To aid the user, Illumitrex will charge phones if they are low on battery to call emergency services and light up dark areas with the built-in torch. By using the Faraday Law, the device is capable of generating electricity through kinetic motion via an inductor. The power is then stored in a 7200mAh Li-ion battery that will charge two phone batteries along a journey. The power can then be distributed to the torch andUSB-C charger.
