The Contextual Design module is a multifaceted project that combines a well-executed design innovation process with brand-repositioning. In this module, students tackle some of the most challenging problems facing our world in the next decade. In the past three years of leading the module, I have had the privilege of working alongside a fantastic team of like-minded designers who have shared my passion for design and have continuously provided students with an excellent level of support and guidance. Clare Brass has been a true source of inspiration for the module since 2017/18; Benjamin Parton and Sandra Fruebing worked tirelessly alongside me for many long hours throughout this academic year. What follows is a reflection of the hard work and tireless efforts of a group of students and staff who went to great lengths to make this year’s projects a reality. This includes our final year students of design, the Contextual Design teaching team and Paul Josse and his team of technicians at our design workshops.
